How do I watch IPTV on Chromecast?
On a Chromecast with Google TV or a Google TV Streamer, open Apps, search Google Play for an IPTV player such as Axon Player, install it and sign in. Older Chromecasts without the Google TV home screen cannot install apps; with those, start the stream in a phone app that has a Cast button and send it to the TV.
Google TV devices
- From the home screen, open Apps › Search for apps.
- Search “Axon Player”, install it, open it.
- Choose Xtream Codes and sign in.
Older Chromecast (no remote)
- Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi as the Chromecast.
- Play a channel in an app that shows the Cast icon.
- Tap Cast and pick the Chromecast.
Not every IPTV app supports casting; if yours does not, the Google TV route or a plug-in stick is the answer.
